We believe that everyone should dive so we invest in our young people as much as possible.
Below are all our scuba diving courses we offer for those wanting to become qualified Open Water Scuba Divers. If you have younger children, then they are not physically able to scuba diver but do not worry, contact us as we run programmes for our young water warriers to keep their interest until they can take the plunge.
Scuba Ranger Program
Do you have a water lover aged 8-12?
Then let them become a Scuba Ranger with Ipswich Scuba!
If you have a young enthusiastic water lover, who is a budding future diver than make them a Scuba Ranger. The Ipswich Scuba Rangers program is a series of in pool diving activities for children ages 8 - 12. Fun and Safety are our top priority whilst we introduce them to the amazing support of scuba diving.
The Scuba Rangers sessions are fun and relaxed as well as educational and the young rangers learn many of the skills needed for the Open Water Diver qualification making it an easy progression.
Each session they will learn and progress skills such as mask, regulator, buoyancy and emergency skills as well as equipment preparation and maintenance.
The program has an accompanying Scuba Rangers package that includes an activity book and log book.
On successful completion they will be issued with a certificate of completion and a digital recognition rating (via MySSI App).
Try Scuba
If you want to try scuba diving for the first time, then a try scuba diving program is for you. You will be introduced to the underwater world, go scuba diving in confined water and earn the Try Scuba recognition card. Conducted in shallow water, it is a diving adventure the whole family can enjoy.
FACTS AND TRAINING STANDARDS
The SSI Try Scuba program is the best way to experience scuba diving for the first time. You will be in confined water and well looked after by your instructor, so you can enjoy those first unforgettable breaths underwater and experience the magic of scuba diving. At the end of this short course, you will have earned your SSI Try Scuba recognition card and will undoubtedly want to go diving again.
